For this project, the client wanted to renovate a house with a thatched roof.
We absolutely fell in love with the thatched roof and thought to valorize it by adding the additional surfaces in volumes below the roofline.
We did it of course in the spirit of our philosophical approach of the old and the new. We want to create a dialogue between the old and the new, we think that neither the old nor the new should dominate the other, but rather, valorize their counterpart.
